About Us

Hi, my name is Jade – a wife, mother to two little girls and creator of Little Woods.

We are a family run biz based in Melbourne and began in 2017 whilst I was on maternity leave with my second bubs. I found it difficult to find teething toys that were natural, non-toxic and safe for my little one who had a hard time during the teething phase. A lot of them on the market were plastic (and we all know how bad plastic is), cheap and nasty or really expensive (insert Sophie the Giraffe). Did you find this, too? This is when the creation of the 100% non-toxic, silicone star teether developed – our very first teething toy, designed by us and manufactured exclusively for us. With the success this brought, I instantly knew there were like minded Mums out there who shared my frustration in finding the right teething toy that would bring relief to their little ones and that were above all, safe.

I also saw a need for safer alternatives to costume jewellery which is why I created a range of handmade Mama necklaces for the modern mum – pieces that were safe to wear around bubs that were designed to be neutral and to compliment any outfit.
